The mail came...

Guess what came in the mail today??? My mastectomy date...whoo hoo
October 27...i'm in shock...teary...it's really happening....Crap!

It's like trying to avoid eating the forbidden fruit...it will happen...ultimately...and I will have new enlightenment because of it...life with be harder because of it...the fall from grace can't be fun...kwim?
I need to seriously read scripture today...during nap time...i'm emotional and feeling very scared.

  7. I saw you over at Working With Felt and followed your trail to your blog.

    I am also a cancer survivor - my journey started 4 years ago just after I turned 40 with a diagnosis of a rare stage 3 salivary gland cancer. Two major surgeries and intense round of radiation therapy later, my life is better than ever.

    Good things started streaming my way after I found my inner strength and stared down the ugly cancer monster. Continue to be strong - you will find your way through!
