Day 11 Cycle one

  • How cute are they in their Gymbo turtles????
  • Sadness has lifted a little.
  • Sore throat today.
  • Horrible headache on Tuesday...in tears, called the hospital and was able to take tylenol...whew! Went to bed early and my folks helped with the kids...what would I do if I didn't have them right now????
  • Working at the golf course today with my brother.
  • Kids went swimming with Daddy this afternoon then came into the pro-shop to visit.
  • just found out yesterday that my next infusion is the 23rd not the 16th...RATS!
  • The 23rd is the last day of school for the kids. Bummer, mommy is going to be sick for the first 2 weeks of summer vacation :(

Sara turned 2 this week!

  1. Thanks for keeping us updated...as difficult as I'm sure it is! The girls do look adorable...as always! Kelly has the same 3 turtle tshirt, also. So sparkly, white and cute!

Happy Birthday to Sara! What a sweetie!

Glad you were able to take something for that headache!

  2. I stumbled across your blog, just following the quilts in the title on some blog directory (I am not a quilter, but I really like looking at quilts).

Just wanted to wish you speedy recovery from all of this. Your words touched me, and raised my awareness as well.

Stay strong - you have such a beautiful family!

  3. Hi Jodi - glad to hear your spirits have lifted! Your girls look adorable (where are their clips?! lol) and a special birthday wish for little Sara!

    Keep your head up!

  4. Jodi
Grandma just told me about your blog....feeling so sad...my brother went thru similar situation 15 years ago....they told him he had only 16% chance but he overcame those odds and beat it...just like you will.....sorry I haven't been able to talk to you about your illness....know it will be a long and hard road for you .......you will get thru this journey .........just want to say we are thinking and praying for you each and everyday.....please call us if you ever need help with the girls...hope Sara received her Bday gift from uncle J....Stay strong....love L......

  5. Hi Jodi
Just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you all the time. Between working in Oncology @ Dartmouth Hitchcock, Manchester & sitting @ my mother's bedside during her chemo treatments, I have been dealing with cancer for several years. I know that a positive attitude & a great support system makes all the difference in the world. I am so happy to know that you have both.

Stay strong & know that the entire town of Loudon is rooting for you! You've got what it takes to win this battle. In the mean time, if you need chocolate, you know who to call!! & if I can do anything else, please don't hesitate to ask.

    You are in my prayers.
    Take Care,

  6. Happy Birthday Sarah!!
Jodi it's so wonderful to here from you and tht your getting through this so gracefully. Your girls look fab in their turtles!!!
    Miss you lots!!!
