http://craftynation.com/blog/2007/08/29/cozy%E2%80%99s-from-happy-house-quilts-cute/

Wow what a thrill! There is one of my first Coffee Quilts™ standing tall and pretty all funkied up with thread art at the CraftyNation.com blog! Thanks so much Toni for the feature...and helping spread the word about saving the planet one cup at a time!
What is CraftyNation.com? It's a fabulous new community, web TV, blog, social networking community all in one for crafters!!! Inspire, Empower, CREATE! They have 4 episodes done to date and they are great! I love getting to know other crafty folks! Toni is such an inspiration! So much energy and passion for what she is doing!

So go get a cup of java and try on a quilt, pull up a chair and surf on over to craftynation.com. Once you have had the pleasure of drinking your coffee in a quilt you will never want a naked cup again!

Did you know that you will save 4-6 pounds of trash per year per person by reusing a Coffee Quilt™? It's a fashion statement and you are doing your little part to help protect and conserve our resources.
Great for hot or cold beverages and even pretties up a travel mug! Don't drink coffee but do grab soda's on the go? These Coffee Quilts™ will catch the sweat on any cold beverage you might have.

May I temp you with a Cocktail Quilt™?

This picture of the "Cocktail Quilt™" was taken on my weekend away with my girlfriends from college...we are all turning 40 this year so hubby let me escape and go be alone with adults! We got a bit silly and this is what came out of it...another use for the wonderful quilted wrap (a.k.a. Coffee Quilt™) sold at HHQ! Never have a naked cup or glass again...hot or cold beverages are all beautified with a OOAK creation!

Coming HOME to Henniker, NH!

I had an amazing day today...I brought my kids (all 3 of them) to my mother's and left them to take a great drive up to Henniker, by myself!!!...

the only Henniker on earth BTW! I love this town. I first visited in 1984 as a senior in High School on my admissions interview. I just felt the energy and knew this is where I needed to live and go to college!

I finished up in 1989 after 4 amazing years and over the past 18 years (yikes, i still can't believe it's been that long) I have worn many hats. Today's hat is the Happy House Quilts one and I wear it with pride. How awesome for me to come full circle and have my Coffee Quilts(TM) and Threadibilities Craft Kits(TM) be available at a store in the downtown area?!?!?!? It's truly beyond words...I got teary on my drive home!

New Hampshire All Natural is a new shop but it's already making a mark with River Tube rentals and amazing all natural products. I just felt at home there sitting with Marcy, the store's owner. The college students will be back soon and I am hoping they all want Coffee Quilts(TM) to protect their hands and the environment as they will save about 4-6 pounds of trash a year!

There is something to be said about coming home again...that's how i feel every time I step foot in Henniker, NH!

New product line Quilt Clamp(tm)

This is a new product line for Happy House Quilts but keeping with the pracical and fashionable nature of the shop, I just had to share!
I love these and they are the first of many. I struggled with whether to paint them too but figured they work fine and it's all about the embellishment so feedback and comments are welcome.

Custom order... Large Iced coffee

Love how this came out! The customer recommended the silver thread and I had to add the decorative satin stitch...it's a perfect match with the print! I even got funky with the tag and added another similar stitch to adhere one side in black!
Long day with the kids...hubby let me have my
therapy today!
Hooray! I love to create!
http://360.yahoo.com/bmcgaunn wow...He's excited to get it! He featured me at his blog!

I'm not really the Skull type but...

When asked to make a custom Coffee Quilt(tm) with a Pirates of the Carribean theme, I agreed. Now what to do with the extra fabric??? I suppose someone could have a custom made slide or Hair Quilt(tm) made? I hear the little ones like the skull and cross bones theme fabric...hard for my sheltered brain to imagine..I don't go to movies much but I'll go with it if someone wanted a triple black skull yoyo clip too! I'm open to suggestions!!!
